JOB TITLE: Celebration Specialist:

Join our vibrant team at Young + Wild as the Celebration Specialist where you'll be the heartbeat of our balloon and party installations. Working closely with our CEO and the Executive Operations Coordinator, you'll dive into the excitement of creating unforgettable moments for our clients. From inflating and installing balloons, to managing light up marquee and balloon setups to ensuring seamless delivery and installations, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to spread joy and celebration. If you're a detail-oriented team player with a passion for making magic happen, we want you to be a part of our fun-loving crew! 

 

  • Installations/Deliveries:

    • Participate in marquee letter and balloon installations for clients, ensuring that each project meets our high standards and wows clients.

    • Communicate professionally & positively with clients.

  • Marquee and Balloon Setup:

    • Fulfill checklists of event setups; arranging pre-prepared letter marquees and balloons, ensuring all elements are ready for installation.

  • On-Time Delivery and Installation:

    • Deliver and set up balloon installations for clients promptly, ensuring a seamless and punctual experience.

  • Balloon Inflating:

    • Assist Installers and Countess with balloon inflating as needed.

  • Balloon Assembly:

    • Assist in inflation and assembly balloon projects, garlands, etc. with precision and creativity, bringing our designs to life as needed.

  • Safe Driving:

    • Safely drive delivery vehicles to and from installation sites, adhering to traffic rules and regulations.

  • Vehicle Maintenance:

    • Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized, removing all garbage at the end of each shift.

    • Monitor gas levels and refill as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

    • Replenish the install supply bags weekly, making sure that our supplies are well-stocked and ready for upcoming projects.

  • Documentation:

    • Capture photos and videos of installations, uploading them to the shared drive for content creation and marketing purposes.

  • Installation Breakdown:

    • Efficiently and safely break down installations after events, ensuring all materials are properly stored for reuse.

  • Client Communication:

    • Communicate professionally and kindly with clients during installations, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Security Measures:

    • Lock trucks and headquarters when finished, taking responsibility for ensuring all supplies and equipment are returned after each installation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in balloon assembly, event setup, or a related field is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and carrying balloons and other supplies, and using ladders.

  • Team player with excellent communication skills. Positive attitude is a must!

  • Comfortable driving delivery van and a safe driver.

  • Driver’s license necessary.

General Information:

  • Part time

  • Hourly rate: $18-22/hr (based on experience)

  • Minimum 25 working hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours

  • Work Hours: a minimum of 2 weekend days per month, with weekday availability a plus!  

 

* While the ideal schedule will be Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 pm, there may be some flexibility with these hours for the right candidate.
